Supporting Safety, Dignity,
and Pathways to Independence.
House of Comfort CIC is a community interest organisation providing practical support, wellbeing services, and empowerment programmes for individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse, hardship and social vulnerability.
About us
House of Comfort CIC exists to support individuals and families facing domestic abuse, emotional distress and socio-economic hardship.
We provide confidential, trauma-informed, and community based support, helping people regain stability, confidence and access to opportunities that promote long term wellbeing and independence.
Our approach centres dignity, choice and compassion. We work alongside individuals at their pace, offering practical help, skills development and safe community connections.
Why we stand together
Domestic abuse and hardship often isolate individuals and families, limiting access to support and opportunities.
We stand together to:
Reduce isolation and fear
Provide practical tools for independence
Promote safety and emotional wellbeing
Strengthen community support systems
Through collaboration with local organisations, volunteers and professionals, we help ensure that support is accessible, respectful and sustainable.
