House of Comfort (HOC) is an innovative Christian outreach ministry extending ourselves into the community. We are a caring, growing, lay-driven ministry that spreads hope while drawing people into a relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior. Our mission is to encourage and develop believers by teaching the importance of fellowship, worship and evangelism; equipping all to share the hope and good news of Christ. We extend a personal invitation for you to join us in our Worship Service on Sunday Mornings at 8:30 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. We assemble at "The Upper Room" located in Detroit, Michigan at 23821 Grand River Avenue (one block east of Telegraph Road). Please also join in our bible studies which are held in the Cambridge Towers community room. We are in the midst of teaching topical lessons such as abuse, abortion, suicide, racism,fear… HOC is a Christ-centered, family-oriented, bible-teaching ministry with a message of comfort and peace. We work continually to instill the life changing Word of God using illustrative ways of teaching, preaching, praise and worship, multimedia, and stage/drama plays.
